It does not exactly look like the Garden of Eden. The neighbourhood El Paraiso, Spanish for paradise, is located on the southernmost tip of Bogotá. The houses and huts seem to slip off the slopes at any moment. Here lives the Colombian underclass, and with them thousands of Venezuelans who fled from from hunger and repression in their home country. Now they are expanding the army of the poor in Colombia’s capital. How does the integration of the Venezuelans work?
